Arabic Text:
يحب جميع الناس الرياضة: الرجال والنساء الكبار
والسغار. ويمارس تلاميذ المدارس الرياضة كل
يوم يتركون الغرفة الدراسة في الصباح ويخرجون
إلى الهواء يجرون ويقفزون ويلعبون وهم سعداء.
Meaning:(in a style similar to the Arabic text)
All people love sports: men and women, adults and children, School children practice sports every day.
They leave the classroom in the morning and go out
to the air - they run and jump and play and they are happy.
وصحة. وتعلم النفس الأخلاق الحميدة، وتزيد من
الأصدقاء . إذا أردت أن تعيش دون مرض فلابدّ أن
تمارس الرياضة،العب كرة القدم أو السلة اسبح في
البحر أو المسبح مارس رياضة الجري أو المشي
اشترك في الرحلات او المخيّمات.
Arabic Text:
وللرياضة فوائد كثيرة.فهي تعطي الجسم قوّةوصحة. وتعلم النفس الأخلاق الحميدة، وتزيد من
الأصدقاء . إذا أردت أن تعيش دون مرض فلابدّ أن
تمارس الرياضة،العب كرة القدم أو السلة اسبح في
البحر أو المسبح مارس رياضة الجري أو المشي
اشترك في الرحلات او المخيّمات.
Meaning:
Sports have many benefits. It gives the body strength
and health. And it teaches the person good morals and increases friendship. If one wants to live without disease you must play sports, play football or basketball, swim in
the sea or swimming pool, or must go jogging or walk, or take part in (sporting) trips or camps.

عرف العرب في الماضي أنواعا مختلفة من الرياضة
مثل: رياضة الصيد وهو بالسهم والقوس, وكانوا
يصيدون الأسد والذئب والثعلب والغزال واستعانوا
في الصيد بالكلب والصقر كان العرب يحبون رياضة
الفروسية والشباق والمصارعة والسباحة والرمي.
Meaning:
In the past, Arabs have known different kinds of sport
Such as sport of fishing by arrow and bow, they hunted the lion, the wolf, the fox, and the gazelle,
In hunting (they used)the dog and the falcon, the Arabs loved sport of Equestrian, wrestling, swimming, and throwing.
يمارس الناس في كل بلد أنواعا مختلفة من الرياضة .
يفضل الناس في البلاد الحارة رياضة السباحة،
ونشاهد في مثل تلك البلاد الكبار والصغار يذهبون إلى البحر أوالمسبح.
People in every country practice different kinds of sports.
People in warm country prefer swimming, and we see in such countries adults and young people go to the sea or the swimming pool.
ويفضل الناس في البلاد الباردة رياضة التزلج على الجليد.
وعندما تكون الجبال كثيرة، يفضل الناس رياضة تسلق الجبال.ويفضل الناس في الصحراء رياضة ركوب الخيل.
People prefer cold country skiing.
When the mountains are many, people prefer mountaineering. People prefer desert riding sport.
يحب كثير من الناس في العالم رياضة كرة القدم, وهي لعبة
سريعة وجميلة. ولكرة القدم قوانين شهلة منها:
- تشترك فريقان في اللعبة
- يتكون كل فريق من أحد عشر لاعبا
- يستعمل اللاّعب كل أجزاء جسمه ما عدا اليد.
- حارس المرمى هو الذي يستعمل يده.
- لا يدفع لاعب لاعبا آحر ولا يضربه..
- وقت اللعبة ساعة ونصف الساعة.
يحسب الهدف عندما تدخل الكرة في المرمى
Many people in the world love football, a game
(which is) quick and beautiful.
And in football the rules of the game are simple,they are:
- Two teams participate in the game.
- Each team consists of eleven players.
- A player does not push a player or hit him.
- The player uses all parts of his body except the hand.
- The goalkeeper can use his hand.
- The game time is an hour and a half.
- The goal is counted when the ball enters the goal.
هناك أنواع أخرى منالألعاب الرياضية، مثل: كرة السلّة وكرة الطاولة والكرة الطائرة، ويستعمل اللاعبون الكرة في جميع هذه الألعاب . في أمريكا يستعمل اللاعب في كرة القدم يده، وفي لعبة كرة السلّة يجري اللاعب بسرعة لترمي الكرة في السلة.
وفي كرة الطاولة يستعمل اللاعبان مضربا صغيرا و كرة صغيرة. وفي الكرة الطائرة يرمي اللاعبون الكرة فوق الشبكة.
There are other types of sports, such as basketball, table tennis and volleyball, and players use the ball in all these games. In America, a football player uses his hand, and in a basketball game, the player quickly plays the ball in the basket. In table tennis, the players use a small racket and a small ball. In volleyball, players throw the ball over the net.
هناك أنواع أخرى من الالعاب الرياضية لا يستعمل اللاعبون فيها الكرة مثل: المصارعة والملاكمة. لا يحب كثير من الناس هذه الألعاب لأنّها خطيرة وعنيفة.

هناك أنواع أخرى من الالعاب الرياضية لا يستعمل اللاعبون فيها الكرة مثل: المصارعة والملاكمة. لا يحب كثير من الناس هذه الألعاب لأنّها خطيرة وعنيفة.
There are other types of sports where players do not use the ball, such as wrestling and boxing. Many people do not like these games because they are serious and violent.

تُعلّم الرياضة النّفس الأخلاق الحميدة.
